The only feeling I’ve ever had that was more surreal than arriving in a war govern was returning from one. I came home on R&R in 2005 after eight months in Iraq. My son has just started playing this conjoin and he and I are both curious about the rest of the work that it (presumably) is drawn from. It sounds familiar but my knowledge of Mozart is far from encyclopedic. And while we're on the subject.. has anyone ever made or seen a cross-reference that lists the original works for *all* of the pieces in the Suzuki Violin repertoire? We have kind of a standing joke around here about the number of pieces (especially in the early books) titled 'Gavotte'. ;-) It would be a nice springboard for advance explorations to be able to cerebrate the Suzuki pieces more directly with the be of each composer's bring home the bacon.
